Video: Russian Meteor Explosion!

The world is probably in great awe while Russians panic as the skies of Russia's Urals region gets blinded by the flashes of light as it sends off a shockwave that shattered windows, together with some chunks of fiery meteorite stones that hurt thousands of people. Experts insisted though that this meteor is not linked to the asteroid 2012 DA14 which passed 17,200 miles above earth earlier today. Well, at least here in the Philippines. But anyway, let's go back to Russia.

The Russian meteor which is by the way currently topping twitter's trending topic brought not only traffic but for a brief moment paranoia to people who though the world was going to an end. Authorities says that over 300 buildings were damaged including schools, hospitals and factories causing injuries to 950 people according to RIA Novosti news agency. The meteor explosion is said to be the most stunning cosmic events above Russia since the 1908 Tunguska Event.

If you just woke up with this news about Meteorite explosions here's a stunning video featuring six different dramatic records of the Russian Meteorite crash!

What do you think? What can you say? Is the world going to end soon? Are we prepared for a more tragic, sudden and unexpected cosmic event such as this?
